Damon Evans is in an extremely high profile position at the University and he did not make just a "mistake." A mistake is forgetting to pick up the dry cleaning.

UGA's image is in a body cast right now, thanks to Damon Evans.

The Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8134468339313902988.post-17721926894966509032010-07-01T20:40:49.149-04:002010-07-01T20:40:49.149-04:00Absolutely he should be fired.
1. He's a pub...Absolutely he should be fired.

1. He's a public figure, not just some no-name employee within a private enterprise.

2. On a campus with more than its share of binge drinking, he's been a prominent voice for sober driving.

Retaining him would be disastrous PR. I can't believe it's being seriously considered as an option.Tommyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15209673809885376664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8134468339313902988.post-73789265766824184902010-07-01T20:23:56.568-04:002010-07-01T20:23:56.568-04:00Too many rush to impose severe punishment, if thi...Too many rush to impose severe punishment, if this becomes a pattern , then yes his job should be on the line.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8134468339313902988.post-14132332709413950432010-07-01T19:35:04.631-04:002010-07-01T19:35:04.631-04:00Good grief, it's not he he's the first UGA...Good grief, it's not he he's the first UGA AD to be a womanizing drunk. Major mistake? Yes. But if there were no prior incidents, nearly all businesses would warn hinm, give him a warning that the nest time would cost him his job, but you would not automaticallu dismiss an employee who has otherwise performed well. If there were prior issues you had dealt with him on, firing would be automatic.

This Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
