The Tebow-Greene Conundrum

Ten gold stars for whichever fan can answer this question, submitted by AppleDawg...

Why was David Greene's name on the board behind tebow during his SportsCenter segment?

Anyone have any idea? Because Pat White, David Greene and Tim Tebow really have virtually nothing in common other than that all three were quarterbacks.

My best guess? Tebow has identified Greene and White as "candidates." I assume Hurley and Jack are also listed on the part of the board you can't see.

(See, don't you wish you watched "Lost" now so you'd get that joke?)

Maybe they were two QBs who excelled at the collegiate level but their particular skill set did not translate well to the NFL as a top performing QB... a la Timmy Teabow.

All southpaws?

All guys who won just as many Sugar Bowls as Tim-may but never got on the cover of NCAA Football?

Greene was drafted in the 3rd round of the NFL draft and White the 2nd, I think.

David Greene was 3 years old when he first heard of Tim Tebow on ESPN.

Pat White was only 2.

Yeah, I could see it being something similar to what jferg suggested. The two and three next to their names would (as far as I can tell) be the round that they were each drafted. Who wants to bet Alex Smith's name was above Pat White's with a one next to it?

Hilarious "Lost" reference.

Even more hilarious comment by Anon 3:33.

I'd say it's what jferg suggested as well.

It's how many seconds each would last in a fight with Tebow. Greene is granted an extra second of mercy due to his immense mountain of wins. Who says Tebow is not a benevolent master?

Also both are colors. And if Tebow's Wonderlic scores are any sign, he may just now be learning his colors.

Hahahaha... OK, plus 10 for you freshman dawg. That one made me laugh out loud.

The Good Senator is correct. The point is probably "If Pat White went in the 2nd, and David Greene went in the 3rd, Tebow should go pretty high as well."
