Previewing the new Sanford Stadium scoreboard

Sanford Stadium will have a new high-definition scoreboard (the kids call it H-D), set to debut for the home opener against South Carolina on September 10. Here are three mock-ups of what it will look like, sent over by UGA's sports information department.

(Click on each photo box and you should be able to bring up a bigger photo of each mock-up).

SO it's going to show videos of road games?

Couldn't they at least have used home game pictures for the mockups?

The one at MS State is so huge you can watch the game from 5 miles away. I almost hope they don't put something like that in Sanford. Overkill

The bigger, the better

Yay! More to distract us from the actual game being played on the field.

Giant scoreboard screens are dumb.

You know who likes giant scoreboard screens?

High School football players.

The bigger the better.

Damn right, matt b.

Nickleback was gay.

Baba O'Riley is not gay.

It is a home game. UGA don't wear red on the road, they wear white.
