UGA Women Picked Fourth

From UGA Athletics:

A panel of 25 SEC and national media members tabbed the Georgia Lady Bulldogs to finish fourth in the league during the upcoming 2008-09 season, the conference office announced on Tuesday. In addition, Georgia's Ashley Houts and Angel Robinson were named first- and second-team All-SEC, respectively.

Each member of the panel ranked the teams' projected order of finish, with 12 points awarded for a first-place vote, 11 for second, etc.

The media chose Vanderbilt as the favorite to win the league title with 273 points. Tennessee was second with 261 points, followed by Auburn (246), Georgia (216), LSU (183), Florida (174), Kentucky (129), Ole Miss (126), Mississippi State (87), Arkansas (81), South Carolina (72) and Alabama (25).
