Baseball Season Tixx On Sale

Season tickets for the defending SEC Champion Georgia baseball team are now on sale and can be ordered online at www.georgiadogs.com.

A reserved seat for the season is $125 while a general admission seat is $100. The popular Family Plan, which covers general admission for two adults and two youth for all 33 home games, is only $225.

The Bulldogs open their 56-game season Feb. 20 at home against Youngstown State. Georgia has SEC home series with Mississippi State, LSU, Florida, Arkansas and Vanderbilt in addition to home games against Georgia Tech and Clemson.

Georgia's returning starters among the position players include catcher/infielder Bryce Massanari, outfielder Matt Cerione, infielder Michael Demperio, catcher Joey Lewis, infielder baseman Rich Poythress and outfielder/first baseman Lyle Allen. Pitchers Trevor Holder, Alex McRee and Dean Weaver also return.

Overall, the Bulldogs return 18 lettermen off the 2008 SEC Championship squad that posted a 45-25-1 record and a consensus number two final ranking in the national polls. Georgia has advanced to the College World series three times in the past five years.

Fans can also order by contacting the UGA Ticket Office at 706-542-1231 or toll free at 1-877-542-1231 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. All 2008 baseball season ticket holders can also order via the 2009 order form received in the mail.
