Branden Smith's academic issues have apparently carried into another day. The sophomore cornerback/kick returner/occasional offensive weapon was not in uniform Tuesday as Georgia began its first preseason scrimmage.
Not a shock, since coach Mark Richt said it could be till the end of the week until the unspecified issue is resolved.
Meanwhile, starting guard Cordy Glenn was also not participating, wearing a green jersey. We'll have an update on his status later, along with that of reserve tackle AJ Harmon.
Reciver Kris Durham was in the stadium but not participating in the scrimmage for unknown reason. Durham was in a red offense jersey, as opposed to the green non-contact jerseys worn by injured players. But Durham was in shorts and clearly not going to play today. (Durham is coming off a shoulder injury, so it could be a precaution.)
Others previously reported injured and still in green: WR Rantavious Wooten (knee), Quintin Banks (knee), Trinton Sturdivant (knee) and Chad Gloer (hamstring).

Seth, I think your stats on Murray's TD and picks are mislabeled, as well as Hebron's tackles and TFL.
