Around the Horn

A lot of doin's a transpirin' outside the football field this weekend, so here's a quick run down of the rest of Georgia's sporting festivities...

-- The Diamond Dogs topped Mississippi State in front of the largest crowd in the history of Foley Field.

-- Just across the road, Georgia's track-and-fielders racked up eight wins at the Georgia Relays.

-- The softball team took two from South Carolina.

-- The Lady Dogs had the hometown edge, but Arizona State dominated anyway to boot Andy Landers' squad from the tourney.

-- The Gym Dogs took second place in the SEC Championships, with Courtney Kupets earning an all-around title.

Looks like a 3rd place finish in gymnastics.

The gym dogs got second at SECS, those links are not from this season. The one about Grace Taylor and Courtney McCool were from NCAAs last year in Athens.

As the two prior commenters noted, the NCAA regionals only start on 4/4.
