Pregame blog (updated continuously)

6:03 p.m.

Kris Durham is dressed out, after being listed as questionable. Well, not listed, but stated by head coach Mark Richt on Wednesday. We'll have to monitor Durham during warmups to see how he's doing. (Oh good, another Caleb King situation.)

5:45 p.m.

(By the way, even though we're in the Mountain Time Zone, all my time stamps will remain eastern. That's partly not to confuse the vast majority of you, but also keep me straight, since I have to hit deadlines.)

Georgia kicker Blair Walsh said he wasn't sure during the week whether the thin air would be advantageous or not: He had heard that it would add a few yards, but also cause the kicks to be more erratic.

So far in warmups that appears to be what he's finding. He teed up a 70-yarder, and it had the distance - but was wide left. Now he's been trying some from 65-58, and he's had the distance on most of them, but has still been left. After several of them he's smiled and thrown up his hands, apparently exasperated.

5:27 p.m.

Some dress list notes:

Tailback Ken Malcome and receiver Michael Bennett both made the trip, despite plans to redshirt both players. Ditto for tackle Kenarious Gates. Those three have made other trips, and are probably only on hand for emergency purposes. (Cue up your joke about the state of the offense being an emergency.)

Another true freshman who has yet to play, defensive end Garrison Smith, is here. Keep an eye on whether his redshirt ends up getting burned.

Walk-on Parker Welch is the third quarterback on the trip. (Other than Logan Gray).

Oh, and A.J. Green dressed. Just to be sure.

5:15 p.m. (eastern)

It's a beautiful day here in Boulder. And I mean beautiful.

Georgia has just walked into Folsom Field, and players and coaches are on the grass, inspecting the property.

Mark Richt and his wife Kathryn are near her assigned spot, at the water area. Mike Bobo is looking dapper in a suit jacket (but no tie). Athletics director Greg McGarity is out there too.

One of the first things I notice: This is a small field, with very little room on the sidelines. The distance from the field to the stands may be 10 feet.

There's also the rising runway beyond one end zone, painted black with "COLORADO" in gold. I remember that from television, but the small sidelines are something I haven't seen in a major college stadium.
