Practice updates

Senior receiver Kris Durham came up gimpy after making a catch early in Tuesday's practice. (The portion the media is allowed to watch.) Durham was walking on his own power, but we'll have to find out later whether it's anything serious.

Nose tackle Justin Anderson, who has been dealing with turf toe, was not at practice. That's another sign he shouldn't be expected back anytime soon.

Cornerback-punt returner Branden Smith (concussion) was watching from the sideline. Head coach Mark Richt said earlier in the day there was a chance Smith could practice today, but apparently not.

Freshman tailback Ken Malcome, also dealing with a concussion, was sitting a few feet from Smith.

Guard Chris Davis (hip and knee) was riding a stationary bike.

Now the better news: Fullback Shaun Chapas (ankle) and ILB Marcus Dowtin (shoulder stinger) were practicing in green jerseys. Tailback Caleb King (ankle) was in a regular jersey.
