First day of two-a-days today, which means an early morning for me. Now, I got into the sports writing business just so I could avoid early mornings, but I'm willing to make the sacrifice for a week I guess. But don't be surprised if these morning blogs start becoming utterly incomprehensible by midweek.
Bleacher Report says Georgia is overrated but Ohio State -- the team that was shredded by the SEC in the past two National Championship games -- is underrated.
The Courier Herald has a story about a UGA fan in Italy. Apparently he started following the Bulldogs after meeting Georgia art students a half century ago.
The Memphis Commercial Appeal writes that Georgia women's basketball landed another recruit.
The AJC's Chip Towers provides a list of some freshmen who might actually see some playing time this season.
The Red & Black reports that Trinton Sturdivant and Bean Anderson have been placed on probation by the university for an off-field incident earlier this summer.
USA Today has a story on Knowshon , who was participating in practice today, but still in a green jersey.
Sanford Knows Best has a video interview with Asher Allen.
Michael Carvell from the AJC writes that a tight end from Dartmouth is about to commit to Georgia.
The Georgia Sports Blog has some interesting numbers on just how good head coach Mark Richt has been. (Correction: Hobnail Boot and Kyle King actually did the math here, GSB provided the link. Sorry for the confusion.)
Dawgs Online has an interview with the brains behind the Richt operation.
